Hickory Ridge is located in the heart of the Space Coast in Cocoa, Florida.
Hickory Ridge is a suburban neighborhood community. This new home community is minutes from historic Cocoa Village, Titusville, the Kennedy Space Center and the beaches. Also easy access to SR528 and Orlando. The community is home to secondary education opportunities with local campuses for the University of Florida as well as Eastern Florida State College, both just five miles away.
About Cocoa
Cocoa has a rich history that includes its founding in the 19th century with a population growth during the space age, and cultural landscapes that reflect its diverse community.
Cocoa was found by early settlers, primarily fisherman, around 1860. The area was first known as Indian River City. The name was deemed too long which lead to the adoption of Cocoa. Today Cocoa is part of the Brevard county area with a population of around 600,000.
